Linkweez secures $10M smart building contract in Singapore

Linkweez signs a $10 million contract to transform a 50-floor office tower (90,000+ sqm) in the heart of Singapore's Marina Bay financial district into a next-generation smart building.

The project, starting in September 2026 and running for 12 months plus maintenance, covers three major pillars:

Smart Workplace Experience

Personalisation of workspaces (HVAC, lighting, audio), intelligent room booking, indoor navigation, mobile apps for the 5,000 daily occupants.

Intelligent Infrastructure

Real-time monitoring of all building systems (HVAC, electrical, water, lifts, fire safety) through a single platform. AI-driven energy optimisation — the goal: reduce building energy consumption by 30%.

Advanced Security

Multi-factor biometric access control, AI video surveillance, behavioural anomaly detection, integration with perimeter security systems.

The project is aligned with LEED Platinum and BREEAM Excellent standards. It is powered by the AI Building Management Platform developed by Linkweez, a proprietary platform that will also be deployed on future group projects.

Partner program open

Linkweez is currently inviting partners to collaborate on this large-scale project:

  • Installation contractors — local Singapore companies, certified and experienced on projects of this scale
  • Equipment suppliers — sensors, gateways, network equipment, BMS systems
  • Tech solution providers — specialised software (HVAC, lighting, access control, video, energy)

Paris office opening in 2026: 30 positions opening

Linkweez is opening an R&D and engineering centre in Paris during 2026, with 30 positions opening across hardware, embedded, connectivity, security, cloud, AI and product.

The Paris centre will be the engineering heart of the group, with key functions:

  • Hardware design (PCB, mechanics, industrial sensors)
  • Embedded firmware (C/C++, Rust, RTOS, drivers)
  • Cloud platform and data engineering
  • Applied AI research (computer vision, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection)
  • Development of the AI Building Management Platform, our proprietary platform that will power future smart building projects

Initially led by Dimitri Kiesse, the Paris office will recruit its centre director by late 2026.

The centre will commercially cover France, continental Europe, Francophone Africa and the Middle East.

PARTNERSHIPS

Singapore partner program: call for applications

As part of the $10M Singapore smart building contract, Linkweez is opening a structured partnership program to collaborate with local and international companies.

Three categories of partners are actively being sought:

1. Installation contractors

Singapore-based companies, experienced on large-scale projects (Class A buildings, critical infrastructure), BCA-certified and with a team of at least 20 available technicians. Cooperation form: contractual subcontracting or consortium.

2. Equipment suppliers

Manufacturers/distributors of sensors (temperature, humidity, occupancy, air quality), IoT gateways, network equipment, commercial BMS systems. Preference for products certified for the APAC market.

3. Tech solution providers

Niche software vendors (smart HVAC, adaptive lighting, biometric access control, AI video surveillance, energy management). Solutions integrable via standard APIs (REST, MQTT, BACnet).
