Paris, March 2026 — Linkweez announces the opening of its Paris R&D centre in 2026, marking the company's third office after London (headquarters) and Singapore (APAC hub). The new centre will serve EMEA markets and host the engineering team developing the AI Building Management Platform.

30 positions across the IoT stack

Recruitment is structured around five engineering domains:

  • Hardware engineering — PCB design, sensor integration, mechanical engineering, certifications (CE, FCC, RED)
  • Embedded software — C/C++ firmware, RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr), low-power optimisation, secure boot
  • Connectivity & networks — LPWAN (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), cellular, BLE mesh, satellite, edge gateways
  • Cloud & data — Real-time ingestion pipelines, data platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT), time-series databases
  • AI/ML — Edge AI inference, predictive models for building optimisation, computer vision

Additional positions are open in product management, business development, technical writing and operations.

Why Paris

The choice of Paris reflects multiple strategic factors:

  • Strong academic and engineering talent pool (Polytechnique, Télécom Paris, ENSEA, Sorbonne)
  • Access to French and broader EMEA enterprise clients
  • Robust IoT and AI ecosystem (FrenchTech, Bpifrance, EDN — Entrepreneurship & Diversity Network)
  • Cost-efficient European base for hardware-focused engineering
"Paris is a natural fit. We need senior engineers who can take on full-stack ownership — from a sensor PCB up to a cloud-deployed AI model. The French engineering schools train exactly that profile."

— Dimitri Kiesse, CEO

Hiring formats

The Paris office will hire across three engagement models:

  • Internal full-time positions for core team members
  • Contractor missions for specialised expertise (silicon design, AI specialists, security auditors)
  • Partner program for niche software vendors and freelance engineers we work with regularly
